Application of anti-corrosion materials in corrosion-resistant non-metallic materials
Author:
The advantage is good acid and alkali resistance. Except for hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid above 300 ℃, and molten alkali, it is corrosion-resistant and has good wear resistance to all organic acids, inorganic acids, and bases.
1. Characteristics of various brick, board, and pipe linings
1) The lining of diabase slabs and pipes is made by melting and casting diabase. The main component is silicon dioxide, which is a dense material with a gray black texture.
The advantage is good acid and alkali resistance. Except for hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid above 300 ℃, and molten alkali, it is corrosion-resistant and has good wear resistance to all organic acids, inorganic acids, and bases.
The disadvantages are high brittleness, inability to withstand the impact of heavy objects, poor temperature variability, and difficulty in cutting and processing the board.
2) Acid resistant ceramic bricks, plates, and pipe linings are made by dry forming refractory clay, feldspar, and quartz, with silicon dioxide as the main component.
The advantage is good acid resistance, except for hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid above 300 ℃, and strong alkali, it is corrosion-resistant to all acids; The structure is dense and the surface is smooth and flat.
The disadvantages are high brittleness, poor toughness, and poor temperature variability.
3) The impermeable graphite board and pipe lining are made of artificial graphite impregnated with phenolic or furan resin.
The advantages are excellent thermal conductivity, good temperature variability, and easy mechanical processing.
The disadvantage is low mechanical strength and high price.
2. Adhesive
1) Phenolic adhesive paste. It is made by using phenolic resin as a binder, acidic substances as a curing agent, adding acid resistant fillers, and mixing them in a certain proportion.
2) Water glass cement. Also known as silica gel, it is made by mixing water glass as a binder, sodium fluorosilicate as a curing agent, and acid resistant filler in a certain proportion. Especially resistant to corrosion from strong oxidizing acids such as nitric acid and chromic acid.
3) Furan adhesive. It is made by mixing furan resin as a binder, acidic substances as a curing agent, and acid resistant fillers in a certain proportion.
